Getting started
Where do we start?
With Discover. Your dedicated consultant audits your operations to find the inefficiencies and bottlenecks actually holding you back. The full consultancy path is Discover, Roadmap, Support and Execute: Discover inefficiencies, build a prioritised 12-month AI roadmap, keep it on track with quarterly support, then execute build work when you are ready.
Do we need technical staff to use this?
No. We build, integrate and maintain everything, and we train your team on the parts they touch. If you can use email and a calendar, you can use what we deploy.
How long until we see results?
After Discover we deliver a prioritised 12-month AI roadmap so you know what to tackle first. Build work sits in Execute and is scoped separately once a clear win is identified on that roadmap.
Will this work with the tools we already use?
Almost certainly. We integrate with the systems you already run: phones, CRMs, calendars, email, WhatsApp, accounting and more, rather than asking you to replace them.
What does it cost?
Consulting packages are priced by days per quarter across Discover, Roadmap and Support. When it is time to build, implementation projects are scoped and quoted separately, so your consulting retainer stays focused on strategy.
Is our data safe?
Yes. We follow UK GDPR, use enterprise-grade AI providers, and agree data-handling boundaries with you up front. Your data is never used to train public models.
AI consulting
Full pageWhat does an AI consultant do here?
They audit how the business runs, write a 12-month AI roadmap, and stay on it each quarter. At New Era AI that path is Discover, Roadmap, Support and Execute.
How much does a New Era AI retainer cost?
Published packages run from AI Pulse at £600 per month (one day per quarter) to AI Partner at £2,800 per month (six days per quarter). Full detail is on the packages page.
Is software build included?
No. Discover, Roadmap and Support stay on strategy. Execute work is scoped and quoted when a clear deliverable is ready.
Do we need our own developers?
No. We build, integrate and maintain what we deploy, and we train the people who will use it.
Can consulting be remote?
Yes. Days can be remote or on-site. We work across Wales and the wider UK from a Llanelli base.
Where do we start if we have not chosen a package?
Book a free AI Opportunity Assessment. That conversation feeds Discover; you do not have to pick a tier first.
How is this different from buying Echo One or Nexus One?
Those are products for calling and CRM. Consulting decides whether they belong on your roadmap at all, and in what order.
What actually happens in the free assessment?
A short call about how the business runs and where work stalls: missed calls, slow follow-up, re-keying between tools, reporting that eats a Friday. You leave with an honest read on whether AI is worth it for you, not a sales script. Nothing is billed until you choose a package.
How soon will we see a difference?
Discover and a first roadmap draft usually come out of the opening days. The pace after that depends on which job is first and whether it needs an Execute build. We would rather fix one bottleneck properly than promise an overnight transformation.
Are we tied into a long contract?
Retainers are billed monthly against days per quarter. You can move up a tier when you need more, and the roadmap and write-ups are yours to keep. The aim is that you could run the plan without us, not that you cannot leave.
AI strategy
Full pageIs AI strategy a separate product from consulting?
No. Roadmap is a stage of the consulting retainer. You do not buy a standalone “strategy PDF” with no days attached.
Will the roadmap always recommend Echo One or Nexus One?
Only if the audit says calling or CRM is the bottleneck. Strategy can conclude that you should not buy a new product this year.
How is this different from a vendor assessment?
Vendors start from their catalogue. We start from your process. Tools come second.
How often is the plan updated?
Support days each quarter refresh the roadmap as the business and the tools change.
Does strategy include staff training?
Higher consulting tiers include AI-literacy sessions. The strategy itself always names who has to live with the system.
Can we adopt AI without a retainer?
You can buy a product. A 12-month order of work is what the retainer is for. Start with a free assessment if you are unsure.
Do we get a document we can keep?
Yes. The roadmap is a written artefact you own: the sequence, the reasoning, the data boundaries and the owners. It is meant to be usable by your team, not locked to us.
What if our priorities change mid-year?
That is what the quarterly Support days are for. A roadmap that cannot absorb a lost contract or a change in volumes is a snapshot, not a strategy. We re-rank rather than start again.
AI automation
Full pageWhat counts as AI automation here?
Software that completes a repeatable job your team currently does by hand: answering, logging, following up, booking, or moving a CRM stage. Language tasks can sit on top of ordinary workflow tools.
How is this different from RPA?
RPA copies clicks in old screens. Most of this work is APIs, workflow tools and AI for speech or messages, with a person for exceptions.
Will you replace our CRM?
Usually no. Integrations are the default. Nexus One is an option when an AI-native CRM is the better fit, not a forced migration.
What should we automate first?
High-volume, repetitive work with a clear outcome: missed calls, lead follow-up, and copy-paste admin. Discover is how we pick the first job.
Is there a published automation day rate?
Build work is quoted once the job is specified. Consulting retainers that produce that specification start at £600 per month. Echo One voice plans start at £49 per month.
Can this run overnight?
Voice answering is built for coverage when nobody is at the desk. Follow-up sequences can run on the same principle. That is a capability of the stack, not a guaranteed result for every business.
What happens when a tool changes or an integration breaks?
The design includes an alert and a fallback rather than a silent failure, and Support days check the paths still match how you sell. When a vendor changes an API, fixing the join is maintenance, not a rebuild.
Does automation mean cutting staff?
No. The aim is coverage and consistency on repeatable work so people spend their time on the calls and decisions that actually need them. We do not sell headcount-reduction promises.
Workflow automation
Full pageDo we have to move to a new workflow platform?
No. We prefer to use GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Zapier or Make if they are already in place.
Is this the same as AI agents?
No. Workflow automation is triggers and records. Agents handle language. They often meet at the CRM.
Who owns a zap after you leave?
You do. We document it, train the person who will maintain it, and can keep it on the consulting roadmap.
Can workflows send WhatsApp and SMS?
Yes, where your existing stack already supports those channels and the data use is agreed.
What if an integration goes down?
The design includes an alert and a retry, not a silent failure. Exact behaviour depends on the tools in the path.
How is this priced?
As an Execute project once Discover has named the path. Consulting retainers that produce that spec start at £600 per month.
How long does a workflow take to build?
It depends on the number of systems and how clean the data is. A single trigger-to-record join is quick; a multi-tool sequence with de-duplication and failure handling takes longer. Discover scopes it before any Execute quote.
Can a workflow handle exceptions, not just the happy path?
Yes, that is part of the design. We map what should happen when a field is missing, a payment fails or an API is down, so the process degrades safely and alerts a person instead of quietly losing the record.
AI integrations
Full pageDo you only integrate New Era AI products?
No. Echo One, Nexus One and Appointment Engine are options. Most first joins are to systems you already run.
What if a vendor has no API?
Then we say so in Discover and either find a supported path or leave that system off the first build. We do not pretend a CSV email is an integration.
Is customer data sent to public models?
No. We agree providers and boundaries up front. Customer data is not used to train public models.
Who hosts the integration?
Usually your existing workflow tool or the vendor’s native connect. We are not asking you to run a mystery server.
How do we start?
A free AI Opportunity Assessment, then Discover lists the live systems. Integration is an Execute quote after that.
How long do integrations keep working?
For as long as the vendors keep their APIs stable. Support days watch for changes, and because we lean on native connectors and your existing workflow tools rather than a custom server, there is less to break.
Can you connect an old or niche system?
Sometimes. If it has a supported API or export, usually yes. If it does not, we say so in Discover and either find a safe path or leave that system off the first build rather than pretend a CSV email is an integration.
AI agents
Full pageIs an AI agent the same as a chatbot widget?
A widget with no CRM write and no handoff is not what we ship. An agent has a job, a record and a stop rule.
Voice or chat first?
Whichever channel currently drops the most work. Voice is often missed calls. Chat is often the website. Discover picks.
Can an agent give professional advice?
No. It should not replace regulated or professional judgement. Those cases hand off.
Who builds Echo One agents?
Echo One is developed and operated by New Era AI Ltd. Custom jobs on top of it are still Execute work.
Will staff lose their jobs?
The design is coverage and consistency for repeatable work, with people on exceptions. We do not sell headcount claims.
How do we keep an agent from saying the wrong thing?
By bounding it: a defined script, a data boundary, and named conditions that hand to a person. Support reviews transcripts so drift is caught early. An agent that is unsure should escalate, not guess.
AI voice agents
Full pageWho builds Echo One?
Echo One is an AI voice platform developed and operated by New Era AI Ltd, a UK AI consultancy and technology company.
What do the plans cost?
Published plans are GBP: Starter £49, Growth £149, Elite £300. Full feature lists are on the Echo One page.
Can it book appointments?
Yes, when it is integrated with a calendar or Appointment Engine, and when you have written what it is allowed to book.
Is 24/7 a service-level promise for every customer?
24/7 is how the platform is designed to answer. It is a product capability, not a published uptime statistic for a named account.
Will it replace our receptionist?
It covers the calls nobody is there to take, and the repeatable ones. People still handle exceptions and relationship work.
How does this relate to consulting?
You can trial Echo One as a product. Consulting decides whether voice is the first bottleneck on a 12-month roadmap.
Can Echo One serve businesses outside the UK?
Yes. New Era AI is a UK company and published prices are GBP. The platform can serve businesses internationally.
What does a caller actually hear?
A natural spoken conversation, not a press-one menu. The agent greets, works out intent, asks the questions your team would ask, and either books, captures details or hands to a person. You set the tone and the limits before it takes a live call.
AI CRM automation
Full pageDo we have to move to Nexus One?
No. Integrations with the CRM you already run are the default. Nexus One is the product when an AI-native CRM is the better fit.
How does Nexus One qualify leads?
AI scores fit, intent and urgency. Hot leads route to your team with context. That is product behaviour, not a published conversion rate.
Can it book from our calendars?
Yes. Times come from the real calendar, with timezone-aware scheduling, reminders and rescheduling.
Which channels can it cover?
Forms, ads, calls and socials into one inbox. Nurture across email, SMS and WhatsApp. Every reply captured.
How does this relate to voice agents?
Voice captures the conversation. CRM automation is what happens next: the record, the follow-up and the booking.
Is customer data used to train public models?
No. UK GDPR, agreed providers, and no training of public models on your records.
What if our stages are a mess right now?
That is normal, and it is the first thing we fix. Automation on top of vanity stages just moves noise faster. Discover agrees what each stage means so the reporting is honest before any sequence is switched on.
AI lead nurturing
Full pageWhere is Appointment Engine?
Appointment Engine is at https://appointment-engine.ai/. It is a separate product. This site does not have an /appointment-engine route.
Is this email marketing?
Nurture here means follow-up on a live enquiry until it is booked or closed. Newsletters are a different job.
Can you guarantee a response-time percentage?
No. We design the workflow so a reply can go out while the enquiry is warm. We do not publish invented conversion stats.
Does nurturing require Nexus One?
No. If your CRM already sequences well, we integrate. Nexus One is the product when you want that engine included.
Where do voice follow-ups fit?
Echo One can call as part of the same record. Message first or call first is a roadmap choice.
Will customers feel chased by a robot?
They should feel answered, not spammed. Sequences are short, on the channel the enquiry used, and they stop the instant a person is talking to the lead. The aim is a timely reply, not a drip campaign that annoys.
What is an AI consultant?
Full pageIs an AI consultant the same as an AI developer?
No. Consulting is advisory: audit, roadmap and quarterly support. Implementation projects are scoped and quoted separately under Execute.
Do we need technical staff first?
No. New Era AI builds, integrates and maintains the systems it deploys, and trains the people who will use them.
Where does New Era AI work from?
The company is based in Llanelli, West Wales, and works with businesses across Wales and the wider UK, remotely or on-site.
Can a consultant tell us not to buy AI this quarter?
Yes. A ranked backlog includes what to leave. That is part of the job.
How much does AI consultancy cost?
Full pageIs there a cheaper way to start?
AI Pulse is the published entry retainer. You can also book a free AI Opportunity Assessment before choosing a package.
Are Echo One prices in pounds or dollars?
Published Echo One plans are GBP: £49, £149 and £300.
Does consulting include building the software?
No. Implementation projects are scoped and quoted separately under Execute so the retainer stays focused on strategy.
Can we change tier later?
Yes. You can move up a tier at any time as the backlog grows.
What is AI automation?
Full pageWill this replace our existing CRM?
Usually no. New Era AI integrates with the systems you already run rather than asking you to rip them out.
Is AI automation the same as RPA?
Not exactly. RPA copies clicks in old interfaces. The work here is more often API and workflow integrations plus AI for language tasks such as calls and messages.
Should we automate the hardest process first?
Usually no. Start with high-volume, repeatable work that has a clear outcome. Discover is how we pick that job.
What is an AI voice agent?
Full pageCan a voice agent book appointments?
Yes, when it is integrated with a calendar or booking product such as Appointment Engine. The agent still needs rules for what it is allowed to book.
Is 24/7 a published uptime statistic?
No. 24/7 is how the platform is designed to answer. It is a capability claim, not a named-account case study.
What is CRM automation?
Full pageDo we have to move off our current CRM?
Not necessarily. Integrations with existing CRMs, calendars and phones are a core part of the work. Nexus One is an option when an AI-native CRM is the better fit.
Is Appointment Engine on this website?
Appointment Engine is at https://appointment-engine.ai/. There is no /appointment-engine route on neweraai.ai.
How can businesses adopt AI safely?
Full pageIs our data used to train public models?
No. New Era AI agrees data-handling boundaries up front and does not use customer data to train public models.
Where should we start?
With Discover: an operations audit, then a 12-month roadmap. Book a free AI Opportunity Assessment if you want that conversation first.
Can we adopt AI without a consulting retainer?
You can buy a product with a bounded job. A 12-month order of work and a data boundary are what the retainer is for.
Next step
Start with the free AI Opportunity Assessment.
A short, no-obligation conversation about where enquiries, hours and revenue leak today. You do not have to pick a tier to have it, and what comes out of it feeds Discover, so the first paid day starts from evidence rather than a blank sheet.
